Last month, I surprised my husband with a trip to Miami to celebrate his 30th birthday. The one thing that I always remember from my last trip to Miami back in 2013 was the beautiful sunrises.
I would say that having to wake up at 4:30 in the morning is not something that you plan to do during your vacation. Once we caught the first glimpse of the orange-hued rays of sunlight arising from the darkness, we got lost in the beauty of nature. The waves were carelessly dribbling onto the sand; The sound of the crashing waves made us forget about all the worries of the world. We were truly emerged in the moment; appreciated it.
Quick Tip: When looking for the sunrise time make sure to head out during the Astronomical Twilight so you can catch the sunlight illuminating the lower atmosphere. This is the way to enjoy the entire sunrise.
It’s not often that you get to see a sunrise-gold beach in the Midwest so it was truly a mystical way to start our day.
Nothing soothes the soul like a walk on the beach.
